How the extraction action proceeds step by step

- Tensioning and slow pulling. The operator gradually increases the tension of the rope, centimeter by centimeter. Sudden movements risk breaking the rope and may damage the attachment points or the vehicle itself.

Why not try to do it yourself
The most common instinct after falling into a ditch is to call a friend, neighbor, or someone with a tractor, or to ask another driver to help 'yank’ it with a rope. This solution seems cheaper, but in most cases, it ends up causing more damage than the initial mishap.
Burned clutch in the towing vehicle. A van, SUV, or delivery vehicle is not designed for static pulling of a weight comparable to its own mass. Broken rope. Towing ropes sold in automotive stores have a strength rating for static loads. Dragging the vehicle on the ground and sideways. Pulling from the road towards the ditch at an improper angle causes the vehicle to move parallel to the road instead of entering it.
